As a significant player in the Android market, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is reportedly working on a new model. The device, expected to be introduced as early as August or September, will be part of the Note 14 series. Here are the details and anticipated specifications for the Redmi Note 14 Pro+:
Redmi Note 14 Pro+ May Feature Dimensity Instead of Snapdragon
Last month, leaks suggested that the Note 14 Pro+ would sport a new design. Recent updates from Digital Chat Station have added more information. Initially, it was believed that the Note 14 Pro+ would come with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, but the latest leaks suggest it might be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7350 instead.
While the leaks don’t explicitly mention the Note 14 Pro+ model, the specifications imply it. The new phone series is expected to use a Dimensity processor. Comments indicate that the Note 14 Pro+ might feature the Dimensity 7350 with an octa-core configuration: 2x 3.0GHz A715 and 6x A510 cores.
Further leaks suggest that the Note 14 Pro+ will come with a 1.5K resolution curved OLED display. The rear of the phone is expected to have an elliptical camera design with a 50-megapixel main sensor.
The device is also anticipated to feature a plastic frame and an optical fingerprint sensor. It will come with a new design. What do you think about the upcoming phone from Redmi? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.
